- I want to order my wife one or more romance novels for Christmas, because she likes them. Unfortunately, I know almost nothing about them, so I don’t know what’s good. Please feel free to make multiple suggestions of titles and/or authors.
I can only provide a couple of clues. The books I see her reading seem usually to take place in a historical setting, but I’m not sure that’s necessarily a preference. The book she is reading now is called “Venus” but I don’t know the author, sorry. - June 27th, 2009
- I have a crazy addiction to romance novels, but sometimes I feel let down when the stories are about older women. It seems the only things the women want are a) to get married, and b) to have children, and I just can’t relate. I mean mid to late twenties just seems to work best for me. Also, I really don’t enjoy novels with ostentatious little kids. Let me know what authors you think I might like.
